WE ARE THE HOLLYWOOD PROFESSIONAL FIRE FIGHTERS ASSOCIATION

The Hollywood Professional Firefighters Association is a non-profit organization that represents the City of Hollywood’s Firefighters. The primary objectives of our organization are monitoring and improving Firefighting and Public Safety, and maintaining a cooperative labor management relationship with Hollywood’s Fire and City Administrators, Elected Officials and the City’s residents.

As a labor organization, one of our primary responsibilities is to our membership, and the other is to our community. Securing market driven, competitive wages for all members, ensuring fair work hours, negotiating and protecting acceptable conditions of employment and protecting the health, safety and wellness of each member are our highest priorities. We’re also working on programs that will positively affect the Community we proudly serve.

Our current membership consists of 200+ dedicated Firefighter/Paramedics who are always ready, willing and able to serve the Citizens of Hollywood. We are Republicans, Democrats, Conservatives, Liberals, Tea Partiers, Pro-Lifers, Pro-Choicers, Black, White, Hispanic, Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Atheist, Gay, Straight and all walks of life, color, creed, race, ideology and religion! We are ALL equally represented and welcomed here!

We’re a different kind of Union. We commit to be part of the solution, and not part of a problem. We don’t have “thugs” or “bosses”. We are all Americans first and foremost, with the goal of making our Country, our State, and our City a better place to live and work….while striving for fair and competetive wages for those of us who risk our lives every day for our Community!
